Dr. Argade is a fellowship-trained Urologist, well-versed
in all aspects of General Male and Female Urology. In
particular, her interest and fellowship training is in
Male Sexual and Reproductive Medicine and Surgery.
Dr. Argade grew up in San Diego, but has traveled across the
country to learn from world-renowned faculty at top institutions. Dr. Argade earned her B.S. in Biochemistry from the University of California, Los Angeles, graduating Cum Laude with Highest Departmental Honors. She went on to earn her M.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, a Tier 1 Medical School in research as recognized by the U.S. News & World Report.
Dr. Argade received her surgical training at Barnes Jewish Hospital and Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, where she completed one year of General Surgery internship and four years of Urology residency. She then went on to complete a one-year fellowship at Boston Medical Center, specializing in Male Sexual and Reproductive Medicine and Surgery, certified through the Sexual Medicine Society of North America.
Throughout her education, Dr. Argade has been closely involved in research to advance the field of Medicine and Urology specifically, with co-authorship on numerous peer-reviewed journal articles, book chapters, abstracts, and presentations at national and international conferences. She is passionate about being on the cutting edge of new treatments and technologies to best serve her patients.
Dr. Argade's goal is to approach all patient encounters empathetically, and to use evidence-based, shared decision making to determine an individualized, optimized treatment plan.
Dr. Argade started practice at La Jolla Urology in 2025. She is affiliated with Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla and the Surgical Center of San Diego.
